Exciting News!

Exciting times at Green Gourmet!
We’re delighted to announce our new menu for our Newtown restaurant. Our old menu had 14 pages, which can get overwhelming, especially after a busy day at work and all you want is food!
We’ve kept our best sellers and reduced our menu to 4 pages, with some new dishes and our Sichuan Style Eggplant now being a gluten free dish. We’ve also clearly labelled all of our dishes that are gluten free, low oil, available to be made gluten free, low gluten and which of our teas are caffeine free!
We’re also on UberEats for Newtown and will consider it for St Leonards shortly. We’re so excited that you’re now able to get our delicious food without having to get dressed and visit our restaurant. 
If there are dishes that you’re after that aren’t on the UberEats menu, you’re welcome to do a phone order and come pick it up from our restaurant, ensuring you still get your Green Gourmet favourites
Also very very soon, you don’t have to call us anymore to book a table. We’ve partnered with Quandoo and you’ll be able to book a table at both of our restaurants, Newtown and St Leonards, straight from google, our website or their website.
Don’t forget to check out all the different cakes and desserts we make. We have quite a few different cake options, including raw, semi-frozen (similar to ice cream cakes!) and gluten free options. Purchase via our online shop or come into either of our stores and check out what is available!

The Green Gourmet family would like to thank each and every one of you who have been supporting our Newtown restaurant since we first opened in 1998, as the pioneer and first ever plant-based eatery in Newtown. An interesting time when there was a complete lack of vegetarian dining in Sydney; let alone vegan.
Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to end the lease (at Newtown) to better the long term health of the overall business.  We are so grateful to have been an integral part of the ever growing Newtown vegan community and now have our efforts focused onto expanding our love across the broader parts of Sydney and beyond including the Central Coast...
